Few records sustain this level of hostility for so long. On 'All Hail the Swinelord', This Gift Is A Curse fuse black metal, sludge, hardcore, and crust into a dense wall of dissonant guitars, frantic drumming, and tortured vocals. Released in 2015 through Season of Mist, the album constantly shifts between violent acceleration and slower, suffocating passages, giving its aggression more depth than a straightforward blackened hardcore attack. The production remains harsh and physical while still allowing the layers of noise, feedback, and melody to surface beneath the chaos.

The longer compositions reveal another side of the band. "XI For I Am The Fire" and "Hanging Feet" stretch into bleak, atmospheric territory, allowing repetition and slower tempos to deepen the sense of dread, while "We Use Your Dead As Vessels" pulls blackened fury and sludge weight into the same space. Eleven-minute closer "Askradare" pushes furthest outward, gradually moving toward post-rock-like textures and cleaner vocal passages. 'All Hail the Swinelord' succeeds through contrast: short eruptions of raw violence set against sprawling, oppressive sections that make the entire record feel increasingly consuming.
