'CM Kamp 1996 / Horion Jugend' brings together two very different strains of Belgian extremity on a split LP issued by Consouling Sounds in 2013. Alkerdeel occupy the first side with three previously unreleased recordings from the 'Luizig' sessions, capturing an especially primitive version of their sludge-black metal sound. Murky production, dragging doom riffs, and harsh black-metal vocals give "Nen Moartsen Meireloare", "Gezet Gelijk Ne Pui Op Ne Wegelink", and "Veilleur De Nuit Noir" the feel of something unearthed rather than polished for release.

A Den Of Robbers answer with entirely new material recorded in 2012, shifting the record toward a tighter collision of grindcore, crust, and sludge. Short eruptions such as "Bob Larson", "Unit 731", and "Plagues" sit alongside heavier, more drawn-out pieces like "In Shades" and "People's Temple", giving their side a more varied but equally hostile momentum. Mastered by James Plotkin, the split preserves the rough character of both bands while highlighting just how differently each approaches heaviness.
