CAVERNANCIA TREMEU 'rutura convergente'
The ground has been shaking in the southern banks of the Tejo River, and while science may provide explanations, the sheer force of the collaboration between TREMEU and CAVERNANCIA cannot be ignored. This hybrid entity made its live debut on January 25th at Noite da Raposa X, unleashing a sonic avalanche that left a lasting impression. Since 2021, CAVERNANCIA has fearlessly explored the limits of noise and harsh electronics, crafting immersive, unrestrained soundscapes. TREMEU, though a more recent formation, is equally committed to sonic exploration, using two basses and an arsenal of pedals to carve out deep, resonant frequencies.
Their collision was inevitable, and it now materializes in 'rutura convergente', a 40-minute recorded collaboration that expands on their live performance. While sheer intensity and sonic pressure dominate, the release also reveals a rich spectrum of atmospheric textures, shifting between suffocating darkness and hypnotic luminosity. More than just a meeting of two projects, this collaboration forms a cohesive trio, moving as one through an intense and unrelenting sonic journey.
