Glassjaw

Long Island, NY-based post-hardcore band Glassjaw was formed by singer Daryl Palumbo and guitarist Justin Beck in 1994, longtime friends who began collaborating as teens.

They recorded some demos and an EP before releasing their first full-length album 'Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Silence' in 2000 on Roadrunner Records. The record brought the band out of Long Island and into the hands of a dedicated grass-roots following.

Glassjaw has been influential in the progression of the underground music scene on the alternative metal/metalcore/post-hardcore genres, and are known for their intense live shows and constant line-up changes throughout their history, with the core of Palumbo and Beck writing all music and lyrics.
