General Shipping Information
Mondo Negro ships worldwide from Lisbon, Portugal. All orders are carefully packed and shipped within 72 business hours (excluding weekends and public holidays). To check Portuguese bank holidays, visit: Portuguese Bank Holidays.

Stock Availability & Order Fulfillment
We do not work with dead stock, and all listed items are physically in stock, except for pre-orders. However, since we sell through multiple platforms (website, Discogs, festivals/pop-ups), inventory discrepancies may occasionally occur. If an item from your order is unavailable, we will contact you immediately. You may choose to:

Replace the item with another available product.

Receive a full refund.

Cancel the order entirely.

If you prefer, we can attempt to restock the item and notify you when it's available again.
Unsealed Items
Some items may arrive unsealed for the following reasons:
- We may open copies ourselves to verify variants (e.g., vinyl colors) if they are not sufficiently labeled by the distributor, label, or publisher.
- Some products come factory unsealed, as per the distributor’s or manufacturer’s standards.
This does not affect the condition or authenticity of the item.
Shipping Methods
We offer multiple shipping options depending on the destination country:

CTT (Portuguese Post): Economy (no tracking or insurance) and Track & Traced.

Correos Express, DPD, and UPS: Available based on the country of destination.

Shipping Rates & Transit Times
Shipping rates are based on destination country and package weight. Estimated transit times can be found on our dedicated page: Shipping Rates & Transit Times.
Please note:

Deliveries are not made on Sundays or public holidays.

Some events (customs delays, carrier disruptions) may extend estimated delivery times.
Pre-order Shipping

Pre-orders will be shipped as soon as they become available.

If your order includes both pre-order and in-stock items, we will ship everything once the pre-order item is available. If you wish to receive in-stock items separately, we recommend placing separate orders.

Due to manufacturer, distributor, and logistics delays, shipping times may be adjusted. While we strive to ship on release day, delays of 2-3 business days or more may occur.
Shipping Delays Due to Vinyl Production
The vinyl industry faces frequent production delays due to:

Supply chain shortages.

Pressing plant limitations.

High demand causing backlog issues.
While we work closely with distributors to ensure timely delivery, delays are beyond our control. We will keep you updated regarding any changes to estimated shipping times.

Tracking & Lost Shipments

Economy shipping does not include tracking or insurance. Mondo Negro cannot be held responsible for lost shipments. This option is at the customer’s own risk.

Tracked shipping options provide shipment updates and better protection. We strongly recommend choosing a tracked service for security.

Customers receive a tracking number for all applicable shipping methods. If you have not received it, please contact us at info@mondonegro.com.
Packaging & Protection
We take great care in packaging our items, especially vinyl records, using sturdy cardboard mailers. While we do our best to protect your items, Mondo Negro is not responsible for any damage that may occur during transit.
In the case of damaged packaging upon delivery, customers should contact the shipping carrier directly to file a complaint. However, we are happy to assist in the process by providing necessary shipment details and documentation.
International Orders & Customs

EU Customers: No customs duties apply if your shipping address is within the EU.

Non-EU Customers: Your order may be subject to import duties, taxes, and handling fees, determined by your country’s customs authorities. These charges are not included in our pricing and are the responsibility of the customer.

Pre-Orders & Mixed Shipments

If your order includes pre-order items, your entire order will be shipped together once all items are available.

If you prefer to receive in-stock items separately, please place separate orders or contact us for additional shipping options.
Delivery Conditions & Customer Responsibility

If you request a specific carrier, you can arrange for your own shipping provider or request a shipping quote from us.

Once a package is delivered, Mondo Negro is not responsible for theft, loss, or incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
