Fast, vicious, and built for the 7" format, 'Tormented Imp' sees Tormented Imp sharpening the attack introduced on their debut demo. The Leeds band drive four tracks of hardcore punk with a heavier, more muscular edge, drawing clear influence from the brute force of Poison Idea and the speed and intensity of Death Side. Thick guitars, pounding rhythms, and a constant forward momentum give the EP a savage but controlled feel.

"Punishment" opens with a dense, hammering charge before "Count Your Days" and "Empty Well" tighten the pace into shorter bursts of aggression. "Out To Dry" closes the record with the same hostile energy, stretching the attack slightly without softening it. Across four songs, 'Tormented Imp' captures the band’s balance of speed, weight, and raw hardcore directness with almost no wasted movement.
