SUUNS are always looking ahead. New sounds, techniques, and environments shape their ever-evolving vision. Whether recording in a sweltering Dallas studio with John Congleton, self-producing at Montreal’s Breakglass Studio, or experimenting with acoustic instruments at Hotel2Tango, the band’s surroundings leave a deep imprint on their music. True to form, the 'FICTION' EP emerged from a time of limited resources and isolation, prompting SUUNS to reflect on past creative spaces and fuse old ideas with new approaches.

On 'FICTION', the band reworks their past into something entirely fresh. The EP is as much about curation as creation—sifting through past sounds, reshaping them, and sometimes deconstructing tracks entirely before rebuilding them. Each song was recorded live-off-the-floor, then taken into isolation and transformed, resulting in a unique blend of past and future, a sonic alchemy that defines SUUNS at this moment.
