Pharmakon 'Devour'

Margaret Chardiet’s project Pharmakon reaches a new peak of intensity with 'Devour', her fourth full-length album. Using self-cannibalism as a metaphor for humanity's self-destructive nature, the record channels raw emotion through five tracks, each representing a stage of grief. The album delves into the chaos and agony that compel us to consume ourselves in a futile attempt to restore balance.

Recorded live in-studio by Ben Greenberg (Uniform), 'Devour' introduces a bold new process for Pharmakon, capturing the ferocity of her live performances with continuous takes from start to finish. The album expands her sonic palette with denser electronics, groovier hooks, and her most unhinged vocal work yet.
