Guardian Alien is a boundary-pushing ensemble led by Greg Fox, a renowned drummer known for his work with Teeth Mountain, Dan Deacon, and Liturgy. Originally an extension of Fox’s solo project (GDFX), the group evolved into a core lineup featuring Alex Drewchin (vocals, synth), Turner Williams Jr. (shahai baaja), Bernard Gann (guitar), and Eli Winograd (bass). Together, they blend structured arrangements with free-spirited improvisation, creating music that balances precision and wild abandon.

Their Thrill Jockey debut, 'See the World Given to a One Love Entity', is a 40-minute single-track psychedelic meditation recorded at Shea Stadium, their spiritual home. Fueled by trance-inducing rhythms and expansive soundscapes, the album channels both intensity and playfulness. Mastered by Heba Kadry, it represents the band’s coalescence, driven by their desire to delve deeply into musical and psychological exploration.
