CNTS’ self-titled debut, 'Cunts', channels Los Angeles punk’s abrasive streak into a furious blend of punk, thrash and hardcore. Built by scene veterans Michael Crain, Matt Cronk, Sterling Riley, Keith Hendrikson and Kevin Avery, the record moves with blunt, distorted force: guitars scrape and grind, rhythms snap forward, and the vocals meet each song with a barked, confrontational intensity. Across 13 tracks, CNTS favor short, volatile bursts, keeping the attack raw and tightly aimed, with the unruly charge of a band shaped in the city’s underground.

The album’s anger is directed at a society the band sees as absurd, decaying and complicit in its own collapse. Rather than dressing that contempt in slogans or a polished political program, CNTS make it physical: abrasive riffs, hard stops, and a deliberately unfiltered performance. Tracks such as "Ass To Grind," "Cholos on Acid" and "Fuck You For Your Service" underscore the record’s irreverent, antagonistic character. There is little interest in reassurance or easy catharsis here; 'Cunts' stays abrasive, sardonic and hostile to the end, capturing CNTS as a group committed to confrontation and noise over approval.
