Anxious 'Bambi'

Anxious’ second album, 'Bambi', arrives this winter on Run For Cover Records. Since their debut, 'Little Green House', the Fairfield, Connecticut five-piece has spent years relentlessly touring with bands like Bayside, Drug Church, and The Wonder Years. During this time, vocalist Grady Allen stumbled upon an old memo in his phone with the name 'Bambi', joking that it should have been the band’s name. The idea stuck, eventually becoming the title of their second full-length album.

'Bambi' represents Anxious’ growth, blending Northeast tri-state hardcore and emo with widescreen alternative rock influences. It captures the challenges of leaving adolescence behind, infusing them with urgency and authenticity. Inspired by ambitious records like Blink-182’s self-titled and Jimmy Eat World's 'Clarity', the band embraces a more expansive sound while staying true to their roots. Songs like “Head & Spine,” “Sunder,” and “Tell Me Why” highlight their evolution, featuring ‘90s rock-inspired guitars, layered harmonies, and modern production that channels their intense live energy.
