thisquietarmy 'The Body and the Earth'

After 13 years as a solo artist with a discography spanning around 50 releases, thisquietarmy evolved into a full band. Incorporating synths, bass, trumpet, and drums, this expanded lineup opened new creative possibilities, pushing the project into fresh sonic territories. While thisquietarmy's signature eerie soundscapes remain central, the music now weaves dynamic, mesmerizing layers, engulfing listeners in a powerful ebb and flow of atmospheric waves.

The full-band album, 'The Body and the Earth', was recorded in Montreal by thisquietarmy (Eric Quach) alongside collaborators Charly Buss and Marc-Olivier Germain. Mixed at Méduse Audio and mastered by James Plotkin, the album was released on October 12, 2018, through Consouling Sounds (Belgium) and A Thousand Arms (USA). The expanded lineup debuted across Europe and North America that same fall, showcasing its bold, immersive sound.
