Conceived as both narrative and protest, '11 Days' saw Spectral Lore channeling black metal into a deeply political and atmospheric form. Built around the realities of migration across the Mediterranean, the album constructed a fictional journey shaped by survival, fear, and uncertainty, drawing from real-world events and testimonies. Rather than offering direct representation, it unfolded as an abstract reflection, where mythic and supernatural elements intertwined with a stark sense of human vulnerability and displacement.

Across its four extended compositions, Spectral Lore balanced intensity with expansiveness, allowing themes to develop gradually through shifting dynamics and immersive textures. “Moloch” and “Fortitude/Sunrise” moved between aggression and contemplation, while “Adro Onzi” and “Tremor/Kalunga Line” expanded into more fluid, atmospheric passages. The album maintained a careful tension between narrative and abstraction, avoiding direct resolution. '11 Days' stood as a focused and deliberate work, where sound became a vessel for tension, memory, and reflection on a crisis still unfolding.
