Leeds hardcore punk lands in Portugal this September as Tormented Imp head to Lisbon and Porto for two shows.
Featuring members connected to The Shits, Ona Snop, Mortuary Spawn and The Reflecting Skin, Tormented Imp play fast, heavy hardcore punk driven by the attitude of Poison Idea, the speed of Totalitär and the Burning Spirits energy of bands like Death Side. Heavy riffs, relentless rhythm and wild guitar leads push their sound somewhere between hardcore punk, speed and rock'n'roll.
Following a crushing demo in 2024, Tormented Imp returned in late 2025 with a new 7" released through Donor Records, pushing that formula even further. Maximum Rocknroll picked up on the same collision at the heart of their sound: Poison Idea attitude, Motörhead-inflected riffs and Burning Spirits-style guitar leads.

September brings them to Portugal for two very different nights.
The first stop takes Tormented Imp to Vortex Associação in Lisbon, with local noise / crasher D-beat band Silêncio opening the night.
Coming directly from Lisbon's underground, Silêncio work with heavily distorted riffs, choked vocals and the raw abrasion of bands such as Doom, Disclose and Discharge. Their demo is already out and offers a good warning of what's coming when they take the stage at Vortex.

The following day, Tormented Imp head north for a second show at AL 859 in Porto.

Opening the live part of the night are Haverá Futuro?, bringing their own strain of raw D-beat hardcore punk before Tormented Imp take over.
The evening starts earlier with a screening of 'Jawbreaker: A Film About Anti-Cimex', the documentary by Tomas Haglund and Oskar Sjödin dedicated to one of the fundamental bands of Swedish hardcore punk.
