Oren Ambarchi and Eric Thielemans return with 'Kind Regards', a deeply immersive live recording captured in Poitiers, France, in November 2023. Their second duo release, the LP documents a 45-minute unbroken performance where their long-cultivated chemistry unfolds with unhurried elegance. Beginning with hypnotic tom rhythms and shimmering guitar tones run through a Leslie speaker, the piece gradually evolves from meditative textures into moments of melodic clarity and rhythmic propulsion.

Mixed by longtime collaborator Joe Talia, 'Kind Regards' showcases the duo’s unique instrumental vocabularies. Thielemans manipulates time and phrasing with subtle rhythmic shifts, while Oren Ambarchi builds lush harmonic structures that recall the spiritual resonance of Alice Coltrane. Later passages see the pair stretch further: Thielemans invokes jazz traditions with dynamic cymbal work, and Ambarchi adds biting fretwork and fluttering delay bursts reminiscent of Henry Kaiser. Together, they summon a shared language that is exploratory yet grounded, cerebral yet visceral.
