Produced with The Squirt Deluxe, its sound reconnects with the electroclash foundations of her earlier work while pushing harder into industrial rhythms, EBM pulse, synthetic pop hooks, and abrasive club production. The explicit humour remains deliberately excessive, but this time it sits alongside a more reflective perspective on visibility, vulnerability, and resistance.

Much of the record works through physical repetition: rigid beats, serrated bass, chant-like vocals, and hooks designed to lodge immediately. The title track reduces its message to a pounding electro mantra, while "Fuck How You Wanna Fuck" abruptly brings guitar aggression into the mix. "Grip" loosens the mechanical tension with funkier bass and guitar, and the closing stretch gradually becomes more open and emotionally direct, particularly on "You’re Alright" and "Be Love". That contrast gives 'No Lube So Rude' its strongest dimension, moving from provocation and confrontation toward acceptance without abandoning Peaches' instinct for turning discomfort into movement.
