Revisiting the earliest recordings of Earth through a radically altered lens, 'Geometry of Murder: Extra Capsular Extraction Inversions' brings Dylan Carlson together with producer and multi-instrumentalist Black Noi$e for a reimagining of material first recorded in 1991. Rather than remixing the source into something faster or more immediate, Black Noi$e slows its already glacial movement even further, applying contemporary electronics and experimental production to the heavy drones, distorted guitars, and languid rhythms. The result preserves the immense physical weight of the originals while shifting their energy into stranger, more abstract terrain, connecting two artists united by an interest in vast musical landscapes and sound as a form of transport.

Across seven inversions, familiar pieces are pulled apart and rebuilt through oscillation, reverberation, and electronic manipulation. “A Bureaucratic Desire For Revenge” stretches across two movements, while “Ouroboros Is Broken” and “German Dental Work” reveal new dimensions within Earth's formative drone language. “Divine And Bright” and the closing “Dissolution I” further blur the boundary between archival material and contemporary experimentation. Neither simple reissue nor conventional remix album, this collaboration reintegrates Earth's beginnings into the present, allowing their low, slow, distorted foundations to resonate with an entirely different force.
