Flung

is the solo project of Oakland-based multi-instrumentalist Kashika Kollaikal. Rooted in sampling, tactile sound-making, and songcraft, Flung blends danceable rhythms with meditative drift. Drawing from global musical traditions, field recordings, and experimental pop, the project explores intimacy, place, and connection, creating music that feels both physically grounded and emotionally porous.
