To celebrate the tenth anniversary of Moon Duo’s debut LP 'Escape', Sacred Bones has released a deluxe reissue of the long-out-of-print album. This edition includes the original tracks alongside three rare songs from Moon Duo’s formative years, capturing the raw energy of their early experimentation. The album remains a testament to the band’s beginnings and their evolution into a touring powerhouse.

Reflecting on the record, Moon Duo described its creation in late 2009 within a shared, smoke-filled San Francisco rehearsal space. Recorded on a 4-track tape machine over a few nights, the album’s freeform approach marked the start of their journey. The reissue serves as both a nostalgic snapshot of their origins and a celebration of the friendships and collaborations forged along the way.
