The Wound

were a hardcore-punk band from Leeds, United Kingdom, active during the late 2010s. Drawing from abrasive US hardcore, sludge, and 1980s Italian hardcore, they delivered a raw, confrontational sound built on jagged guitars, pummelling rhythms, and sudden shifts in pace, becoming a distinctive part of Leeds’ underground punk scene before ending in 2019.
