BARST is back. 2016's 'The Western Lands' raised quite a few eyebrows, even earning 5th place in CVLT Nation's album of the year list. It seemed hard to top that, but BARST continues to push its boundaries. Drawing inspiration from live renditions, the album's structure began to emerge early on. Through arrangement, restructuring, and rebuilding, the vision for this intricate and engaging work started to crystalize. Presented as one long, immersive trip, this album is a spectacularly complex masterpiece.

To record this beast of an album, BARST received contributions from artists like Niels Brown (Vonnis), Gregory Simons (Vonnis, Arise Fair Sun), Messy Mathi, Mathlovsky (Mathlovsky), Tokyo Oyo, William Lacalmontie (OVTRENOIR), and Mike Armine (Rosetta).
