Label Spotlight is back, and this time we headed to Brooklyn, where the charismatic and always chill dude that is Caleb Braaten waited for us to have a great chat about the history and inner workings of the amazing label he founded in 2007 and still runs, the already legendary Sacred Bones.
From David Lynch to Boy Harsher, from Boris to Moon Duo, from Khanate to Fรถllakzoid, not forgetting Zola Jesus, Pharmakon or Thou among many other decisive names in so many different scenes, Sacred Bones Records has traversed musical genres as if they're only made up words, only focusing on bringing us the coolest, most innovative music they can find. It was a pleasure to talk to Caleb about his way of perceiving music, discovering new artists, and keeping the connection between several generations - truly a man with a vision.
