Kyuss

was an American stoner rock band formed in Palm Desert, California, in 1987. Emerging from the desert rock scene, they became pioneers of heavy, downtuned, and psychedelic riff-driven music. Albums like 'Blues for the Red Sun' and 'Welcome to Sky Valley' cemented their cult status, influencing countless bands in stoner, doom, and alternative metal. They disbanded in 1995, leaving a lasting legacy.
