Fontaines D.C.

are an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 2014. Their early music drew on the city’s streets, poetry and post-punk tradition. Since their debut, they have expanded into a broader, more atmospheric sound while retaining sharp lyrics, driving guitars and a strong connection to their Irish roots. Their records balance post-punk urgency with melody and growing ambition, earning a wider international following.
