Cathedral

was a British doom metal band formed in 1989 by former Napalm Death vocalist Lee Dorrian. Initially rooted in bleak, slow doom, they evolved into a warmer, groove-heavy sound infused with psychedelic, stoner, and classic heavy rock influences. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Cathedral became one of the most distinctive and influential bands in doom metal history.
