With no outside musicians involved, the record places the extraordinary interaction between its two creators completely at the centre.

Across six expansive compositions, enormous walls of distortion coexist with remarkable detail and restraint. "XXANN" emerges through howling feedback and the sound of flowing water, while "Mindrolling" deepens the album’s meditative atmosphere through field recordings and slowly shifting frequencies. "Glory Black" introduces sparse piano against the surrounding weight, creating one of the record’s most solemn moments.
