Description

SoiSong’s 'xAj3z' is a hauntingly inventive statement from the late Peter Christopherson (Coil, Throbbing Gristle) and Ivan Pavlov (CoH), blending experimental electronics with jazz-noir, ambient, and synthetic vocal arrangements. Conceived in 2007, this is the duo’s only full-length release—an enigmatic work steeped in eerie beauty, mechanical playfulness, and sonic surrealism. Shifting between artificial voices, abstract melodies, and fractured rhythms, 'xAj3z' feels at once futuristic and strangely human.

Each composition bends genre and expectation—like “Dtorumi,” which pulses with warped IDM echoes, or “Ti-Di-Ti Naoo,” evoking a ghostly concert hall in motion. There’s a narrative thread woven through synthetic languages, cinematic textures, and manipulated voice programs that reflect Christopherson’s legacy of pushing auditory boundaries. 'xAj3z' is as emotionally resonant as it is strange—a cryptic requiem and a triumphant celebration of sonic experimentation.
