Bongzilla 'Weedsconsin'

On the fringe of chaos, in the Year of the Pandemic, the Cannabeast has awoken! Bongzilla returned with 'Weedsconsin', their first full-length album in 16 years. Written by original members Muleboy (bass, vocals), Spanky (guitar), and Magma (drums), the album was recorded and mixed by the late John Hopkins in October 2020 at Future Apple Tree Studios. It delivers six brand-new tracks, blending their signature weed-infused sludge with new sonic elements.

Expanding beyond their classic sound, Bongzilla infused 'Weedsconsin' with heavy doses of crushing stoner doom and psychedelic space rock. Their transition to a three-piece created more musical space, allowing for deeper jams, stomping beats, and an even heavier tone reminiscent of 'Gateway' but with greater sonic clarity.
