DON'T DISTURB MY CIRCLES 'Lower Canopy'

From the Latin phrase: "Nōlī turbāre circulōs meōs”, DON'T DISTURB MY CIRCLES took their name, from Archimedes' last words before he was killed by a Roman soldier in Syracuse while sketching a geometry problem. The group's musical style consists of complex, discordant and abrasive style of noise rock-infused metallic post-hardcore that does not follow typical composition rules. In 2009 the band self-released the EP “E.O.T.T." and in 2011 DON'T DISTURB MY CIRCLES worked with hardcore band Lifedeceiver for a Split CD and toured Portugal together. In February 2015 they released their first full-length 'Lugubrious Cacophonous', recorded and mixed by Sérgio Prata Almeida, produced by the band and mastered by Brad Boatright (AudioSiege US). During these years DON'T DISTURB MY CIRCLES had played shows and festivals in Portugal, sharing the stage with bands like Dillinger Escape Plan, Weedeater, Celeste, Mantar, Revok, No Omega, Cancer Bats, Sepultura and Obituary. The Portuguese four-piece arsonists are back in 2018 with their latest EP 'Lower Canopy' with more intricate and exploratory songs that set the bar higher for their work.
