Description

Los Angeles instrumental group Red Sparowes' release 'Aphorisms' is a succinct and assertive statement of purpose. The 3-song 12" EP captures the band's signature epic, heavy, and sprawling sounds on their most anthemic and focused recording to date, aided by exceptional engineer Toshi Kasai (Melvins, Big Business, Tool).

The 12" features meticulously detailed artwork by Sonny Kay (including a full-color 12"x24" poster) and marks its first release via Sargent House. 'Aphorisms' is a thematic precursor to the band's third full-length slated for release in 2010. The EP is the highly anticipated follow-up to the quintet's previous two albums, 'Every Red Heart Shines Toward the Red Sun' (2006) and 'At The Soundless Dawn' (2005).
