Continuing their tribute to the foundations of extreme metal, We Are The Damned's 'Metal Classics Vol.2' delivered two fierce reinterpretations of songs by legendary acts whose influence continues to echo through death, black, and extreme metal. On the A-side, We Are The Damned tore through Bathory's "Reaper", capturing the primal aggression and sinister atmosphere that helped define early extreme metal. The B-side featured Autopsy's "Twisted Mass Of Burnt Decay", a filthy and punishing rendition that embraced the gruesome heaviness of the death metal pioneers.
